Twitch Canceling is an advanced technique used in Anarchy Reigns. The technique requires strict timing and is one of the definitive technique's used in competitive online play. Twitch Cancelling allows players to cancel attacks and reset to neutral which allows them to attack immediately, granting access to combo's that are impossible to pull off otherwise. Twitch Canceling is a very useful tool and when mastered attack combinations are nearly endless. All characters are able to use this technique and can be performed any time when attacking except when using a Killer Weapon or when performing an aerial. The term "twitch" comes from the animation the character uses when performing the technique.
